Willow Sky Ranch features 3 separate living areas featuring the 1905 Greathouse, the Boar's Lodge, and the Bird's Nest Tree House, all remodeled in 2021. The ranch features the charm of the past with the amenities of today. Nestled on 75 acres of the Texas Hill Country directly on historic Willow City Loop, the Premier Bluebonnet and Wildflower destination in all of Texas. There is ample space to explore nature, observe the herd of antelope, or relax in the common Grove area under 100-yr oaks

Welcome to Willow Sky Ranch, nestled in the heart of Texas Hill Country, where wildflowers bloom and nature flourishes. This sprawling retreat offers the perfect getaway for large families or groups of friends, providing both shared spaces and private retreats across three distinct houses: The 1905 Greathouse, Bird's Nest, and Boar's Lodge. Together, these accommodations can comfortably host up to 18 guests, making Willow Sky Ranch the ideal destination for those who want to enjoy time together while still having their own space.

The 1905 Greathouse stands as the centerpiece of the ranch, a beautifully restored gem that blends vintage charm with modern amenities. Inside, you'll find a spacious sleeping arrangement featuring 1 King bed, 3 Queen beds, and 2 Full beds, ensuring everyone has a cozy place to rest. The Greathouse is also equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, perfect for preparing meals for your entire group. 

The Bird's Nest offers a more intimate setting, with 1 King bed, an additional mattress, and a sofa bed. It’s a cozy retreat that invites you to unwind in its serene surroundings. The Bird's Nest is perfect for those who prefer a bit of quiet and also features the best views on the property from the wrap around deck

Boar's Lodge, the ultimate chill-out spot, features 2 Queen beds and is designed for those who love the idea of "camping living" with all the comforts of home. The lodge also offers indoor entertainment with games like Foosball and a slot machine, providing hours of fun for everyone. 

Each house is equipped with a TV and AC, ensuring a comfortable stay regardless of the season. 

The outdoor spaces at Willow Sky Ranch are just as impressive, offering large areas for games, activities, and relaxation. Dive into the pool for a refreshing swim, or soak in the hot tub under the stars. Gather around the firepit for an evening of storytelling, or challenge your friends to a game of cornhole. The ranch also features teepees that add a touch of fun to your outdoor adventure, and a BBQ grill for cooking up your favorite meals. Whether you're planning a special gathering in the Greathouse or enjoying the rustic charm of camping-style living around the firepit, Willow Sky Ranch offers the perfect mix of comfort and adventure. Our guests also have the option to include a one-of-a-kind dance hall, complete with a stage, bar, and a 3,000 sq. ft. dance floor.

This property is steeped in history, featuring the original 1860s settlers cabin, the original windmill, and a herd of blackbuck antelope grazing in the pasture, offering guests the chance to observe wildlife day and night.  Please message us for events and gatherings as different rates apply.

Use of Willow Hall and the Public Restrooms are for scheduled events and will not be open during Airbnb visits. If interested in the entire ranch or for events please send us a message. 

Please do not enter the Greenhouse, chicken coup, support sheds, outdoor kitchen, or touch the tractor, mower, Polaris, or other support equipment during stays for your safety.

Please stay on the structure side of the fencing and do not enter the pasture area. There is a herd of blackbuck antelope and their protector Jenny the Donkey. They are super fun to watch throughout the day but please do not enter their space.

Willow Sky Ranch is situated on the scenic Willow City Loop, which is especially beautiful during wildflower season. There aren’t any public transportation options nearby, so driving is the easiest way to explore the Texas Hill Country and visit local attractions. Parking is available at the property for your convenience.

We are pleased to offer early check-in options for our guests, subject to availability. For those arriving between 11 AM and 1 PM, there is a fee of $200. If you prefer to check in from 1 PM onwards, the fee is $100 fee. Please let us know in advance if you would like to take advantage of this service, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

• We happily accommodate your stay, but please refrain from hosting big events, noisy celebrations, or using guns, fireworks, or starting fires on the property. The property MUST NOT, under any circumstances, exceed the maximum occupancy limit of 18 guests. 

• Please stay on the structure side of the fencing and do not enter the pasture area. There is a herd of blackbuck antelope and their protector Jenny the Donkey. They are super fun to watch throughout the day but please do not enter their space.

• Feel free to explore the property but stay aware of nature’s animals including snakes, scorpions, coyotes, etc. 

• Please limit water use – the ranch is run with rainwater collection and water wells and water supply is low in the region.

•  Please only flush toilet paper since the ranch is on septic. Any other objects or materials can damage the septic and lead to costly repairs.

•  NOTE - The property and common areas do have free 2G & 5G wifi.

The ranch is located approximately 17 miles or a 20-minute drive from Fredericksburg. While the place offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, we recommend planning your travels accordingly.

Welcome to our Willow Sky Ranch! We'd like to take a moment to share our House Guidelines which are designed to ensure everyone's safety and comfort for all our guests. These are common practices that help us provide a welcoming space for everyone. 

Let us know immediately of any issues, concerns, or questions. No question is too small.

** Must be at least 25 years old.
** No undeclared parties or gathering, illegal substances and undeclared guests. No glitters or anything similar. 
** No Smoking. Guests can smoke outside, but we simply ask that you pick up the cigarette butts and don't let the smell whiff inside the property.
** Please do not eat and drink in the bedroom. 
** We pay our cleaners fairly and they have a big job to turnover the unit and sanitize. Your appreciation for their hard work can be shown by not leaving excessive mess behind. Please check out by 11 AM. Unauthorized late check out may cost to additional fees that will be charged by our cleaner for waiting. 
** Upon check-out, we kindly request to wash all the dirty the dishes, secure the trash, and gather the used towels. 
** If you used the grill please make sure you clean it and put the cover back on. 
**  In the summer, please turn the AC up to 80 degrees. In the winter, turn the heat down to 65 degrees before leaving. 

Safety: 
** No weapons, shooting, or hunting allowed on the property. 
** Guests use the pool and hot tub facilities at their OWN RISK. Tenants and guests who can't swim need to be supervised. All children who visit the pool must be supervised at all times.  No glass inside the pool, hot tub, or pool decking areas.
** Please do not enter the Greenhouse, chicken coup, support sheds, outdoor kitchen, or touch the tractor, mower, Polaris, or other support equipment during stays for your safety
** Fires in the fire pit are allowed as long as there is no burn ban. Please do NOT leave fire unattended. For your safety, no fires are allowed in the Teepees
